High Elevation Wines
July 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
There are three main factors to consider when discussing high elevation wines: Sunlight becomes more direct and concentrated, causing grapes to develop a deeper pigment, almost like getting a tan. Dramatic temperature shift between day and night help the grapes retain acidity, while reaching peak ripeness. And the exceptional drainage forces the vines to dig deep in the soil looking for nutrients. Together, these factors make vines struggle to survive, which leads them to produce fewer berries. Come taste these “highly” prized wines! Tickets are $10 with a $10 credit towards featured wines.
